Two exhibition halls, four days of discovery, and a world of creative finds
—from charming ceramic cat mugs and handmade lace to stylish woven bags.

Love exploring craft markets, collecting unique homeware,
or discovering independent boutiques while traveling?
This November, make sure to add the POPUPASIA® Asia Craft & Lifestyle Fair to your calendar!

Celebrating its 10th anniversary,
POPUPASIA® returns to Songshan Cultural and Creative Park
in Taipei from November 12 to 15, 2026, taking over Warehouses 4 and 5.
Under this year’s theme, “EXPO THE WORLD,”
the fair brings together independent designers, artisans, and lifestyle brands from Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, and across Asia for four days of creativity, craftsmanship, and cultural exchange.

This year’s exhibition invites visitors to discover the everyday beauty and creativity of different cultures through two distinct exhibition spaces.

In Warehouse 5, “Local to Local: Japanese and Taiwanese Lifestyle Crafts,” co-curated and operated by POPUPASIA and Japan’s TRUNK DESIGN, celebrates the craftsmanship and regional traditions of Japan and Taiwan.

Meanwhile, Warehouse 4 hosts the “I AM Asia Craft Fair,” featuring original Asian brands and a special collaboration with Chiang Mai’s beloved Jing Jai Market.

Whether you’re passionate about handmade ceramics, fashion, illustration, or traditional crafts, there’s something waiting to be discovered around every corner.

10th anniversary

About POPUPASIA®

POPUPASIA® Asia Craft & Lifestyle Fair brings together independent creators, designers, and lifestyle brands from across Asia, creating opportunities for visitors to discover original products, explore regional craftsmanship, and connect with the people behind the designs. The 2026 edition marks the fair’s 10th anniversary, celebrating creativity, cultural exchange, and the beauty of everyday living.

Highlight 1 | Discover Japanese Craftsmanship:
Iron Pans, Senshu Towels, and Adorable Cat Mugs
˖᯽ ݁˖

Great design isn’t just about how something looks. It’s also about how it becomes part of everyday life.

For those who appreciate thoughtfully crafted kitchenware and home accessories,
Warehouse 5 offers plenty to explore.

Osaka-based FUJITA KINZOKU, a metalware manufacturer with roots dating back to 1951,
brings its signature iron frying pans, combining decades of metalworking expertise with practical designs for home cooking.

Another Osaka brand, SHINTO TOWEL, carries on the century-old towel-making tradition of the Senshu region. Known for its attention to texture, quality, and comfort, the brand shows how even everyday essentials can reflect generations of craftsmanship.

Looking for something a little more playful? Japanese ceramic brand Soujuen (双寿園) presents its charming LID-CUP collection, featuring ceramic cups inspired by takeaway coffee cups, complete with silicone lids and sleeves. These adorable creations bring a touch of personality to an everyday coffee ritual.

Visitors can also discover distinctive tableware from OUJIGAMA, UMEMURA SHOTEN, and Eguchi Pottery, each offering a different perspective on Japanese ceramics and craftsmanship.

Making its first appearance at the fair is KIKUI SCISSORS, a professional hairdressing scissors manufacturer from Wakayama with a history dating back to 1953. In collaboration with Yamaga Shikki, a lacquerware workshop in Kuroe, Kainan City, the brand incorporates traditional lacquer-finishing techniques into its scissor handles.

The result is a fascinating combination of professional functionality and traditional Japanese artistry, turning an everyday hairstyling tool into a distinctive expression of personal style.

From the proportions of an iron pan and the glaze of a ceramic cup to the softness of a carefully woven towel, these small details are what make Japanese craftsmanship worth experiencing up close.

From Kagoshima, WISTARIA LACE showcases delicate three-dimensional floral lace and tassels, perfect for adding a personal touch to clothing, handbags, and accessories.

Fleur cafe flannel* transforms yarn, denim, and traditional kimono fabrics into soft, textured floral wreaths. Its creations offer fresh inspiration for home decoration, thoughtful gifts, and DIY projects.

Meanwhile, 布とハコと (Nuno to Hako to) specializes in French-style fabric-covered boxes, known as cartonnage. Featuring charming color combinations reminiscent of illustrated storybooks, the brand also offers DIY kits with instructional videos, allowing craft lovers to transform beautiful fabrics into practical decorative pieces.

TWINE (繭裹子) brings together fair-trade principles, natural materials, and handmade craftsmanship, creating products that reflect a thoughtful approach to design and production.

From Huwei, Yunlin County, FUMI Towel reimagines traditional towel manufacturing through contemporary designs, transforming everyday textiles into practical and stylish lifestyle products.

Over in Warehouse 5, Taiwanese brands including C-house, Dulan Kingdom (都蘭國), and Yuan Tai Bamboo Craft (元泰竹藝社) showcase how traditional materials such as wood, shell ginger fiber, and bamboo can be incorporated into modern living.

Together, these brands highlight how local craftsmanship can evolve while preserving the skills, materials, and cultural stories behind each creation.
