POPUPASIA® × Jing Jai MuanMuan Market, Chiang Mai

From 18–21 December 2025, POPUPASIA® was honored to become the first overseas partner officially invited by Jing Jai Market Chiang Mai. Following earlier exchanges in which the Jing Jai team visited Taiwan, this initiative marked a reciprocal step—bringing Taiwanese creators directly into Thailand’s local market environment.

POPUPASIA® led six selected brands that had previously participated in Asian Handmade & Lifestyle Exhibitions to take part in the market. Rather than observing from the outside, creators engaged directly with Chiang Mai’s market rhythm, daily life, and cultural landscape—experiencing how creativity functions within a local urban context.

The exchange also included participation from Hong Kong-based brands, further expanding the dialogue and turning the market into a shared space for Asian creative interaction.

Jing Jai MuanMuan Market 2025:
Chiang Mai’s Winter Creative Highlight

Held only once a year for four days, Jing Jai MuanMuan Market is one of Chiang Mai’s most anticipated winter events. In 2025, the market transformed the Jing Jai grounds into a vibrant landscape of craft, design, food, music, and everyday creativity under the theme “Everyday Wonder.”

With over 600 booths from Chiang Mai, across Thailand, and neighboring regions, the market showcased handmade crafts, eco-conscious design, community brands, lifestyle goods, and limited-edition holiday pieces—making it not just a place to shop, but a space to experience living culture.

The POPUPASIA® Zone:
Bringing Taiwanese Craft to Chiang Mai

At the dedicated POPUPASIA® Zone, visitors were invited to explore a curated selection of Taiwanese handmade and lifestyle brands, each engaging directly with local audiences and international visitors:

Through face-to-face interaction, creators were able to observe local preferences, share stories behind their work, and gain valuable insight into Northern Thailand’s creative market.
