Building on 9 years of physical exhibitions at Pop Up Asia, POPUPASIA has further expanded its business matchmaking platform — Asia Handcraft Connect (手創通) — to bridge the gap between brands and corporate buyers.
For handcraft brands, Handcraft Platform isn’t just another exposure channel — it’s a vital gateway to access information on business activities within Asia’s handmade community.
As of June 2024, more than 400 handcraft brands have already registered — and the number keeps growing.

How to Use a POPPASS Platform?
Step 1: Create a new POPPASS Account
Go to the POPUPASIA official website → Click on “Shou Chuang Tong (手創通) ” (second from the left column)
On the Shou Chuang Tong (HandCraft) page → click the language and change to “English” → Hover your cursor over the profile icon in the top right corner → Click “Register”
Register with a third-party account, or create a new account and password.
Step 2: Fill in Company and Brand Information
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your company and brand profile
📌 If you are a handcraft-related brand and intend to use Handcraft Platform to promote your brand or seek business collaborations, please select “I am a Brand Owner.”
📌 If you are a business or organization looking to collaborate with handcraft brands (e.g., trade unions, employee welfare committees, shopping malls, select shops, media/PR companies, etc.), please select “I am a Buyer.”
Fill in your company and brand details step-by-step.Currently, each account can register one company (with tax ID), but multiple brand profiles can be created under the same account.
How to Edit Your Information After Uploading
Go to the top right corner > Personal Page to edit your member profile information.
Top Right > Personal Page — here you can manage and edit your brand information.
You can create and manage multiple brand profiles.
Click “Manage” on the brand you want to edit to enter its settings page.
Important Tip:
After entering the brand profile editing page, you can also click the top left corner to switch languages.
In each language interface, update the corresponding brand information accordingly.
For example:
- On the Japanese interface, fill in your brand description in Japanese
- On the Chinese interface, fill in your brand description in Chinese.
This way, when users switch languages on the frontend website, the brand content will automatically display in the selected language.
You can also upload product introductions and media reports of the brand to enrich your brand introduction page.
On the “My Brands” page, you can also click on “Brand Owner Information” to edit your company’s basic information.
Currently, each account can be linked to only one company (with a unified business number).
Please check your in-site messages regularly so you don’t miss important business or exhibition updates.
On the “My Brands” page, there is a “Message Notifications” section — don’t forget to check it often!
How to Register for an Exhibition via Handmade — POPPASS Platform?
1. Select the Brand You Want to Register in the Exhibition
On the “My Brands” page, choose the brand you want to register for the exhibition.
Then, on that brand’s page, click “Register for Exhibition.”
There may be multiple Exhibitions / Fairs event opportunities open for registration at the same time.Scroll down to choose the event you’d like to join, then click “Register Now for Exhibition.”
2. Fill in the Registration Information and Submit the Registration Fee
Follow the steps to complete the registration form and submit the registration fee.
3. Pay by Credit Card
Use a credit card to complete your payment.
4. Submit for Review and Wait for the Result
Make sure to click Submit on Handcraft (手創通)!
Once submitted successfully, you’ll see the message:
“Your exhibition registration is under review!”
5. If Approved, a “Registration Successful” Button Will Appear
Once your registration is approved, a “Registration Successful” button will appear on the exhibition registration page. Click “Registration Successful” to proceed with the booth fee payment.
6. Go to the Review Page to Pay the Booth Fee
Once your application has passed the review, you’ll be taken to the data review and booth fee payment page, where you’ll see the message:
“Your exhibition registration has been approved!”
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your booth fee payment.
After Successful Registration, You Can Also Purchase Additional Equipment or Services
Once your registration is confirmed, you can return to the “Exhibition Application” page to purchase additional exhibition services or equipment.
